3. Gently trace the tape measure around the curve of your nail bed, measuring the length at the widest point.
4. Record this measurement, usually in millimeters (mm).
This method is suitable for those with pronounced nail curvature, as it accurately reflects the actual width and curvature of the nail.
Method 2: Using Paper to Assist Measurement
1. Prepare a clean, white piece of paper and a fine-tipped pen.
2. Hold the paper against your nail bed, ensuring that the entire widest part of the nail is covered.
3. Use a pen to mark the widest edge of the nail on each side.
